Lecture 01/08/2011- Rod Chester "Telling Factual Stories With Text"
Today's lecture "Telling Factual Stories With Text" was presented by Rod Chester a feature writer for the Courier Mail. He gave the class an insiders look into the industry. His presentation was an overview of the different styles of writing for features and columns. He also showed us the importance of following the inverted pyramid in news writing. I found his lecture to be very informative.
